Uhh... You're okay with candy with emotions in them, right? [Some people aren't but Sora thinks the wild ride is hilarious and fun.]

Sora heads out shortly after that. The marketplace is busy as usual and the tucked away little candy shop is just to the side with a fair amount of people coming and going. If he sees Minato getting close he'll wave.]

Ah, the secret sweet den. And Sora.
[ It's surprising how many people are here given the size of the shop, but it can mean only one thing—it must be good. ]
I'm in your hands. Show me the best stuff.

[Except it's really not. It's pretty popular. But it's nice to pretend. He grins and then motions Minato to follow him into the store. The hustle and bustle are usual inside and there are shelves upon shelves of colour vibrant candy on sale everywhere.]

[ Minato is no fun sometimes. Nonetheless, he's going to play along despite saying that. ]
Happiness must taste like chocolate. [ That's one strong opinion. ] What do you recommend?

These ones are good. They taste like hope. Apparently, hope tastes an awful lot like coconut.
[What they actually do is taste like any sort of fruit that reminds you the most of a hopeful feeling. Like thoughts of home in Sora's case.]

[ Minato plops a few of these into his mouth. ]

[ Guess who had an obligatory beach episode with his friends. This guy. ]

Dunno, I guess coconuts mean better times?
[He likes coconut so he's really not complaining. He nods and points at another selection of pink looking candies. These one are supposed to make the taster feel a short burst of grief or joy. It only lasts for a few seconds.]
How about trying one of those?

[ Grief or joy? Those are the total opposites, but maybe that's why Minato stuffs his mouth with pink candies...only to start laughing earnestly a few moments later. ]
These are...hahaha...so good...!
[ He can already tell that his cheekbones are going to hurt, even if it's going to be a short outburst. ]
I want to...haha...try this, too.
[ Minato doesn't even read the label or anything, just grabs a sample of what seems to be a brownie. Maybe if he did take a look, he'd realize he's eating something with a self-explanatory name: it's a bashful brownie. ]
M-Maybe I shouldn't eat so much...haha...
[ Mix and match might not be a good idea here... ]

[Sora reaches for him but it's too late- He really shouldn't mix and match emotion foods like that. But ... It would be a lie to say Sora isn't at least a little interested in what happens because of it.]
Are you okay? [He's trying not to laugh at the way Minato's face looks right now.] You kinda look like your cheeks are gonna explode.

[ His face already hurts so much; this is so different from his usual neutral expression. ]
Too many emotions aren't good either. I need to remember that. Is there anything else you can recommend?

Actually, the anger pop rocks! It might sound weird but they're really good.
[Sora loves spicy things and anger tastes just like that. He goes over to a bin of it and takes a small sample and pops it in his mouth. There is a short crackling noise from Sora's mouth. It's like there are fireworks popping on his tongue as the spicy flavour makes Sora furrow his eyebrows.]
Ahh-- See? [Snap! Crackle! Snap! Sora growls out with some random anger but he seems to be enjoying the mood swing.] They're spicy!!

[ He takes just one but it's more than enough to make him frown. ]

[Oh no, Sora said that word. He also reaches up to pinch Minato's cheeks. Not particularly hard but hard enough that Sora's obviously trying to be tough and angry. Or at least his version of it.]

[ Pinch his cheeks. ]

[ Sora cannot leave without his cheeks pinched at least once, Minato decided. ]

[Sora's anger is prickly and sort of like a yappy puppy but here he is. Eventually, the anger seems to fad away enough as the pop rocks turn to sugar on his tongue.]
See, I told you this kind of stuff was the best. [Sora is that weird person who likes emotion food.] Do you like it, Minato?

[ It looks like the anger isn't going away for a while; perhaps it's because it's the emotion Minato is experiencing rather rarely. ]
But now I feel like eating normal sweets, too!!
